Southern Timber Solutions works with clients to develop and implement management plans that focus on landowner’s objectives. We work with clients to ensure that they are informed of different options available for their properties. We provide management plans, timber sale management, GIS mapping services, timber valuations, timber inventories, prescribed burning services, land maintenance services and herbicide application.
Michael D. Ransom
Michael is a registered forester with over a decade of experience in forestry and land management. His training includes GIS spatial analysis and the use of cutting-edge technology to maximize timber production as well as to facilitate multiple uses for a tract of land. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Forest Resources from the Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources at the University of Georgia.
Giles Moree
Giles has a Bachelor of Science degree in Forest Resources, as well as a Master of Forest Resources with an emphasis in Forest Business from the Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources at the University of Georgia. He specializes in creating land management plans for private landowners by utilizing his training in financial planning for long term investments and resource sustainability.
